Musician, Operations and Productions, Live Sound Engineer
Matt Himes is a native Los Angeles artist and co-founder of The L.A. Fort, engaged in alternative and underground music and arts for the past 15 years. He has been involved in many music projects around town as a guitarist, bassist and sound-scaping/drone aficionado. He he operates through Mister Psychedelia as a live sound engineer & operations/production manager for various venues, festivals, and music projects including Mad Ave, Pehrspace, FMLY Fest, and Desert Daze
He has a special affinity for dark psych, drone, noise, and no wave styles of music, Hieronymus Bosch, Austin Osman Spare & Kentaro Miura are some of his favorite artists
